Hello Fresh Air!

For the last 13 weeks I have pretty much been cooped up in my house cuddling with my sofa trying to get passed morning sickness! Well this past weekend Dub and the girls got me out of the house and off to New Braunfels for some fresh air! We went to visit Dub’s grandparents who live out on 30 acres in New Braunfels. The breeze that hits their back porch is so wonderful and I really enjoyed watching the girls wave and say hi to the cows over and over. Later in the afternoon I got to go sit by the river and watch the boys do some fly fishing and hang with the girls as they threw rocks and sticks into the water! All in all a great day to get out and get some fresh air.

I am so sorry I have not blogged in forever! Just a quick update on me, I am now 13 weeks into my pregnancy and I have still been really sick but hopefully in the next few weeks it will be getting better. All of the baby’s test have come back great which is really exciting! I wanted to post a Top 30 of some of my favorite photos from this past year! There were so many I loved so narrowing it down was really hard. I have a ton of session coming up in about a week and half so stay tuned…..
Happy Birthday Sophie

It’s hard to believe Sophie turned 4 yesterday! Time just flies and the older you get the more your realize how true that saying is! I can remember the day we headed to the hospital to have Sophie I was freaking out b/c I knew nothing about taking care of children. My brother is 11 years older than I am so I didn’t even have siblings my own age growing up. You know you should worry when even your mom fears for your unborn child. The best part is though is that it all comes naturally! Sophie is an amazing girl! She is so smart; I would even venture to say smarter than an elephant because this kid doesn’t forget a thing! She is super sweet and caring. I always get a kick out of dropping her off at school and her hugging her friends to start the day! I feel so blessed! Happy Birthday Sophie; I love you more than words!

Well I was determined to get my last session of the year posted before the year ends! This is the Gresenz Kids! Their mom Kim is our pediatricians nurse and we just love Kim! Her and Joe have 5 kids and 1 daughter-in-law! I had so much fun on this session! I hope everyone has a fun New Year’s Eve tonight! We are hanging at home with some family and friends since I am still not up for doing much. I am counting down the weeks till this baby stops making me so sick!!!!

I am super excited to share that we are expecting baby #3 this summer! I have not been posting much lately because I have been so sick due to “morning sickness” which really should be more appropriately called “all day sickness!” Even with all the sickness I still feel so blessed and realize how much my family and I have to be thankful for. With that being said I want to take a minute to say thanks to all of my wonderful clients/friends who have made this past year such a smashing success for my photography business. Whenever I started doing photography just a year and a half ago I never imagined how quickly my business would grow. I feel like the luckiest girl because I have the most amazing family and I get to work doing what I love! So THANKS to everyone who has supported me and my photography! I am going to be emailing my calendar out for next year in a couple of weeks because I am going to have a limited number of sessions for 2010. We have weddings booked solid from March to July and I will not be coming back from maternity leave until October! So I will get my calendar out as soon as possible so that you may reserve your session for 2010! I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season; MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Thanksgiving with the Sutherland Family

I promise peeps I have not fallen off the face of the earth; I have been trying to take a break and fill Christmas orders. I am finally getting around to posting some pics from our family Thanksgiving. I love having Thanksgiving down in Uvalde b/c the boys do a South Texas meal which is fantastic! Our family is so much fun and I love doing family pics when we are all together because there are so many generations of people in our family. My kids are lucky enough to get to spend a lot of time with not only their grand parents but their great grandparents are still very much around and so much fun to be with. Also, on a side note ladies my cousin in the cowboy hat below is a super cute and super single firefighter so if you have any prospects shoot me an email!
