Ugg…..being sick is no fun!

Well……the flu(the normal flu NO swine flu) has finally caught up with me. I have been down and out for the last two days. My girls are so sweet because they have been taking care of mommy. Be sure to check back next week; I am shooting my first wedding this weekend and I can’t wait to share the pics with everyone! Now I am going back to bed.

Sorry you’re not feeling well, but excited for you and your first wedding! Be sure to take back-up equipment, never try out anything new, and be sure to take charge – people at weddings are not the best at taking orders. Also, be sure to talk to the pastor or priest and ask him about is policy for photographers. All pastors are different (some churches don’t allow pics during the ceremony) but it helps if they know that you know the rules.
Don’t be afraid to overshoot, but make sure you cover all the basic shots – there will always be shots you can afford to miss. If you can, have them arrange an assistant for you, not to handle anything, but someone who knows everybody and can round them up for you. Good luck and happy shooting! =D
