Heath and Macy = Love

Heath is my brother-in-law and Miss Macy is his longtime girlfriend and we just love them both! They were one of my first clients last year when I started my business and I can’t get over how so much has changed in one year. They are both about to finish their first year at Texas Tech. I selfishly can’t wait for summer so we will get to see them! Heath is such a wonderful uncle to the girls and girls just don’t get any sweeter than Macy!

The Zunker Family

I can’t say enough about the Zunker Family! They are our wonderful neighbors and we could not live without them! They are such an awesome family and we have so much fun with them. Friday night have become our much anticipated happy hour on our back porches together. Our kids are the same age and Dub and I are really enjoying watching them all grow up together. Yall…this is one of my favorite shoots!
Our Fort Davis Trip!

My children thought I was crazy because we would just be driving along and every few minutes I would be slowing down to snap a quick pick…guess it’s a good thing there isn’t much traffic on the roads out there.
This is when the girl and I took a mini-hike; emphasis on the mini! 
While in West Texas I picked up a tripod so that I could set my camera up and do the self timer so that I could be in a couple of pics with my family! Turns out it was a great source of entertainment as you can see below. The girls got such a kick out of it because they took turns pushing the button on my camera and then running to get in the picture!

Rubbing the belly!
On one of our daily adventures the girls and I went to this ranch South of Alpine called the Woodward Ranch and it was awesome. Trey the owner is the fifth generation of family to run the ranch and I can’t say enough about how nice he was. They were recently on the Travel Channel and they have even been in National Geographic! The cool thing about this ranch is it has amazing rock. The girls and I got to go rock hunting and they had a blast picking out all the cool rock!
The rock on the fireplace is all from the ranch!

Howdy Friends!

Well….the girls and I are in good ole’ West Texas this week with Dub so we can all spend time together while he is busy working! I must say usually I think of desert when I think of West Texas but we are out in the beautiful Fort Davis mountains and loving it!
This morning the girls and I set my camera up on a tripod and set the self timer and did a little shoot on the front steps of our casita! They had so much fun pressing the button for the timer to go off so I think everyone will get a good laugh at those pictures! I am having a photography field day out here to say the least and I can’t wait to post the pictures when we get back. Also; be sure to start checking back often because March is going to be a busy month for me with shoots!
