have you thought about having groups of 3 or more in your senior sessions? When I was doing senior pics, I remember clients really enjoyed having their friends with them. You could charge accordingly and make 3 or 4 times the payout in the same amount of time as one. It’s easier than it looks.

Also, have you thought about prom pics coming up? You’ll have to limit your assignments, but you could make a good go of it.
