Our Fort Davis Trip!
March 6, 2009

My children thought I was crazy because we would just be driving along and every few minutes I would be slowing down to snap a quick pick…guess it’s a good thing there isn’t much traffic on the roads out there.
This is when the girl and I took a mini-hike; emphasis on the mini!

While in West Texas I picked up a tripod so that I could set my camera up and do the self timer so that I could be in a couple of pics with my family! Turns out it was a great source of entertainment as you can see below. The girls got such a kick out of it because they took turns pushing the button on my camera and then running to get in the picture!

I love this picture of Sophie and me; it really cracks me up!

This is one of my favorite pictures below!

Rubbing the belly!

On one of our daily adventures the girls and I went to this ranch South of Alpine called the Woodward Ranch and it was awesome. Trey the owner is the fifth generation of family to run the ranch and I can’t say enough about how nice he was. They were recently on the Travel Channel and they have even been in National Geographic! The cool thing about this ranch is it has amazing rock. The girls and I got to go rock hunting and they had a blast picking out all the cool rock!

The rock on the fireplace is all from the ranch!

I couldn’t resist snapping a pick of Sophie on this yellow chair out at the ranch!

The rubbing the belly picture reminded me of Ross for some reason. These are great pics, especially love the one of the highway and that you got to get in some too!
LOVE the pictures! I’m so happy you were finally in front of the camera!!! You have a good looking family! My favorite is the one of you making the same face as Sophie!
this is by far my favorite post ever. the highway, the girls, the family photos are beyond beautiful. they are perfection to me. they exude so much fun and love and what family is all about. your girls have grown so much and are the cutest lil’ chicas i’ve seen. i want to squeeze them!!! what an amazing trip. it left me wanting more!!!
brandi…
these are fabulous! you are such a natural beauty…and the girls follow in your footsteps. the family pictures, especially of you two holding the girls up, are ADORABLE! glad you got some of the 4 of you! great job, once again! if i could afford it, i’d get family pictures with you every single month! well…that may be a little crazy but atleast a few times a year.
great pics, B! As mentioned, I’m so glad you decided to get in front of the camera, you look truly happy! The girls are a natural in front of the camera and I wouldn’t be surprised if they become photographers too!
love & blessings,
