A Day at the Zoo!

The girls and I have a year round pass to the zoo and go all the time; but Sunday was Dub’s first time to go to the zoo with us! We had so much fun and the weather was perfect! Usually when the girls and I go to the zoo I leave that place sweating like a dog in the summer time. But on Sunday it was a little bit chilly outside which had all of the animals stirred up thus making it a great day at the zoo! I of course had a lot of fun too because I got to try one of my new lenses out…I sure do love the zoom!
This is one of my favorite shots!
Daddy pushed the stroller and I lugged my camera gear! My two little wichy women cracked us up all day; just look at Sloane’s little pig tails!
If she could have jumped right in with the bear she would have!
This is the girls staring ever so intently at the jaguar. Every time we see the jaguar at the zoo Sophie does the Dora the Explorer/Go Diego Go Mama jaguar noise! All you mom’s with little ones know what I am talking about!
Yes….I do occasionally get in a pick…but seeing how I am dressed here you can see why I often do not…but hey…we are at the zoo!

I am just in love with little Colton! He has grown so much since I did his Christmas pictures…he has this cutie little haircut and he now has a couple of teeth! He is just so sweet and such a photogenic little guy! Laura…I had so much fun with the two of you today…I can’t wait until our next session!

Well it is hard to believe that my little Sophie just turned three! The last time I did pictures of the girls was six months ago when Sloane turned 1; so I thought it would be fun to give my new lens a whirl and snap a couple of pictures of my girls! Sophie is at that age where when you ask her to show you her smile she makes this cute little snarl! Sloane’s jacket kept cracking me up because she was eating all the stringing fuzz hanging around the neck area…what a mess! People always tell you that your kids grow up fast and its true! Today Sophie is 3 and before we know it she will be 18 and headed of to college!
Fly Fishing With The Sutherlands

We love Saturdays at the Sutherland Household! This morning we decided to head to Gruene with Dub to go fly fishing! Sophie couldn’t wait to dump her little fishing rod into the river and catch a fish. Although she didn’t catch a thing she could have cared less because she was fishing with her daddy! Sloane did what Sloane always does and that is tell us all how it is done without getting her hands dirty!

Senior Session: Lyndsey

Lyndsey is a senior at New Braunfels High School and absolutely stunning! She reminds me so much of Cameron Diaz! I met Lyndsey through my cousin Amanda who is one of her best friends! You will see in some of the shots her awesome blue truck that has been in her family a long time. It is the cutest ride that I would have loved to have in high school! Lyndsey thanks so much for a fun afternoon and I hope you love your pics!
