I just want to thank everyone for making my first year of business a huge success! I feel so blessed! I have a ton of new things coming for ‘09! My awesome new camera lens should be here any day now. I will also have a new proofing system where my clients will be able to see their pics in color, b/w, or sepia as well as view them in different sizes! I am also going to be doing a Sexy Shoot package with my friend Ana (who is an amazing make-up artist) so that you can give your honey the best Valentine’s Day present ever! My first shoot of the year will be Thursday January 1st so be sure to check back and scope out the pics!

This shoot makes me realize it is a small world. I had a call this morning from a dad needing a last minute Christmas present for his wife so we did a shoot today of this cutie patootie Erickson! Turns out his dad Eric is married to one of my childhood friends! He had know idea I was from Uvalde and it came up during the shoot! So….at the end of the day you realize what a small world it is! I hope Krysten loves these pictures!

A Day at the Ranch

Sunday Dub and I spent most of the day on the ranch in New Braunfels working cattle with his cousin and uncle. We all had so much fun and it is so refreshing to just get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Over the next few days I will be posting more pictures from that day because I had about 500 of really fun pictures that I want to share with everyone. I hope you enjoy the first group of pictures!
I have to say I think Dub make a pretty handsome cowboy!
The ranch has some amazing old houses on it that I am going to be able to use in my photo shoots next year! I can’t wait! They are so rustic and beautiful.
This is our cousin Travis who is the real deal cowboy! He is also a San Antonio Firefighter….I love this picture Travis….I know Lauren loves this one too!

Introducing the Kelly family! Charlotte, Brian, Catalina, and the soon to be here baby boy had so much fun on their shoot! I got to do some pictures of Catalina back in October in here adorable princess costume which is when I met Charlotte! I was thrilled that she asked me to do their family shoot! They are such a sweet family and Catalina has the curliest/prettiest hair that we all dream of! The Kelly family was also my last shoot of the year! I am hanging up my camera until January….of course I will post some family pictures over the holidays! So until then………Merry Christmas!

Chip and Jess were one of the first couples that I did pictures for back in June when I started my business. At the time she was pregnant with Lyla and we did maternity pictures. I was thrilled to be able to do their entire family now that baby Lyla is here! We have known Chip and Jess for about 3 1/2 years now and they are just awesome people. I love how vibrant their pictures turned out and they were so easy to shoot because they are just so natural with Lyla…thanks yall!

Bruce and Katie are some of our closest friends here in San Antonio so I was thrilled to be able to do their engagement pictures! I used to run into Katie when we were at UT and Dub met Bruce their very first day of law school. Bruce and Katie started dating almost two years ago and are the perfect match. We can’t wait for their big day in May when they start their greatest journey as husband and wife…thanks so much you guys for letting me do these special pictures!
