The Wright Family: Kim, Cargil, Lawson
November 30, 2008
Kim Wright is another great person from Uvalde. Kim and her two boys are surprising her husband with pictures for Christmas. I can’t say enough about how sweet they all were on the shoot and they have done such a wonderful job raising two precious young men. While we were shooting these pictures at the train track we had a really scary dog get pretty close to us which made me think it probably wouldn’t be such a bad idea to start carrying mace on my shoots…it seems to work for my mailman that sprayed my dog one day in our front yard. I loved all of these pictures and had a hard time trying to narrow it down to just post a couple on my blog…you guys rock!
The Sutherland Family

I feel so blessed because I have such wonderful in-laws! Over Thanksgiving I got the opportunity to do some pictures of them! They are amazing and have been married for 28 years. The most wonderful part is how after 28 years you can still see how in love they are with each other. The girls got to get in some pictures with them which they loved! We are so lucky because our girls are the first set of grandkids on Dub’s side of the family; so of course they are spoiled rotten by their Beep and JoJo! I love the last picture too because it is Cinco and Tammi with their three boys all grown up! We love yall so much!
Sophie’s First Major Haircut!
November 28, 2008
While we were in Uvalde over Thanksgiving Sophie got to go see Miss Ruby for her first “big girl” haircut! I dreamt all night about having her haircut and wondered if I should or shouldn’t have it cut! Well we did it and our family loves it! But then again we would love it no matter what! Sophie had so much fun getting her hair done but she didn’t love having it washed in the big bowl at the salon. All of us girls assured her that someday she would love every part of being pampered at the salon! Sophie we love your first big girl haircut!
The Parker Kids
November 28, 2008
This is Part II of the Parker Kids shoot! We did a round of pics before Halloween and I wanted to do another round out at their house this time so we could get some awesome country pictures! I just love animals and they have a lot of them out at their farm. Their horses are just so beautiful and we had such a good time running across fields and snapping pictures! What a fun afternoon!

The Muniz Family
November 28, 2008
Aurea was my college roomate and is also from Uvalde. I got to do a shoot of her nephew Jude earlier this fall and now I got the opportunity to do a shoot of their entire family. We had so much fun trying to get eleven people all set up for family pictures! I have to brag on them too because they all got to the shoot early and that is a lot of people to get to one spot in downtown San Antonio. I love these pictures and my favorite is the one of Layla doing her hook ‘em horns with the family in the background!

The Holland’s
November 25, 2008
Barbara Holland is the awesome graphic designer who did my new blog for me. She has a graphic design company called Blackstone Studio and she rocks! I got to do a shoot on Sunday with Barbara, Justin, and their little dog Cinco who was the cutest thing. That dog is so funny and he zips around like lightning. Barbara…thanks so much for my blog I love it and I hope yall love the pictures!
The Kruckemeyer Girls
November 23, 2008
Megan and Amy are both from Uvalde and just so sweet! They wanted to do this shoot to surprise their parents for Christmas. Normally my shoots average about an hour but this one lasted almost two because we were having so much fun. We hopped around different places in Uvalde but did most of our shoot at a farm. The farm we were at has so many neat things to do pictures that we could have spent a whole day there. Girls I had so much fun and I love yalls pictures!
